We are hiring a Business Development Manager to take over a mix of existing accounts and new sales. To excel in this role you should be an active listener, have a compelling sales personality, and a hunger to chase and close new business from relationship based calls and inbound warm leads.
Main Job Responsibilities:
The most important aspect of this position is to listen to potential client needs and to relay them into marketable solutions to help their business grow. Internal it is understanding our business, services, and meeting deadlines.
Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
Developing estimates and proposals for clients.
Mentoring support staff, and assign tasks to help produce content.
Supporting current and developing new goals for growth and ensuring they are met.
Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.
Being part of the team and understanding how it works together.
Experience managing a growing team
Experience in sales, marketing, politics or related field.
Strong communication skills and IT fluency.
Ability to understand how to build complex projects that meet ROI objectives
Multi-task different projects while meeting deadlines
Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
Proficient in Google Docs, spreadsheets, proposal software (proposify).
Excellent organizational skills.
Successfully hitting sales goals
Successfully establishing relationships with lead organizations within day trip cities
