The role of a communications intern is geared toward a student in their final two years of school who is studying in the field of journalism/mass communications, advertising, public relations, or marketing. For this internship, we are looking for an individual who is a stellar writer, great with words and enjoys creating engaging content. This PAID internship is 20 hours per week for 8-12 weeks, but may be modified to meet requirements based on school and specific credits.
Valuable internships require that you learn enough to be more competitive on the job market, and that the employer receive enough work for it to be worth their time to train you. If you can commit to this duration, and perform, then we believe we can make the experience worth your while.

You will be introduced to a wide range communications-related projects and tasks, including writing copy, working within a content management system, creating social media content and advertisements, crafting email campaigns, planning digital marketing campaigns and more.
The goal of your work is to create content that doesn’t feel like “selling,” but instead feels like a story, a conversation, or a community. In order to do this, you’ll need to have solid writing skills, but you’ll also need to think creatively in terms of the target market you’re writing for/about.
